There is a wide range of methods of transportation services from surface transportation to overnight air shipments. We commonly use UPS, FedEx, and U.S. Parcel Post, depending on how you wish your order shipped and taking into account how the shipment can be tracked. Savana Engineering does not charge handling fees for smaller items, so you pay only actual shipping costs as charged by the carrier. Due to the variety of product weights and shipping methods, the exact shipping charges are determined at the time of packaging your order. Foreign orders are shipped typically DHL or airfreight. If needed, you may request an estimate of the shipping costs prior to fulfilling your order. To provide us with your preferred shipping method, or a request for shipping cost estimate, or to advise us of a time constraint, you may use the 'Additional Comments' block found within the Order Form, or you can email, fax, or telephone your request.

Savana attempts to stock all items for immediate shipment. If a portion of your order is temporarily out of stock, it is Savanas' policy to immediately ship as much of your order as soon as possible, backorder the out of stock items and ship the back ordered items as soon as available. However, should you wish to avoid the additional shipping charges involved in subsequent shipment of back ordered items, please indicate on your order that you wish the order to be held and shipped in one shipment.

UPS or Fed Ex packages are limited to 150 lbs. each. The size limit is 130 inches length and girth. The maximum length is 108 inches. There is no limit to the number of packages per day. United Parcel Service or FedEx does not deliver to Post Office Box Numbers. Call for weight in excess of 70 lbs

Any item that is bulky and lightweight for its size and is under 30 lbs. that exceeds 84 inches girth and width, will be charged at a bulk rate rather than actual weight. Such as: Power Sluice Box hopper, Dredge Frames, or any lightweight bulky items less than 30 Lbs.

Items too heavy or too large for UPS, USPS and Federal Express will be shipped by truck. Do not estimate orders that will be shipped by truck. You will pay these charges to the delivery carrier truck driver. Write in your daytime phone number so the carrier can schedule delivery at a convenient time. Drivers are not required to unload heavy shipment by themselves in residential areas.

Checks with orders will be deposited upon receipt. All orders are processed assuming they will be shipped complete. However, back orders sometimes occur, these items will be shipped as they are received. Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for shipping of your merchandise if paid by personal check. To order by check, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address above. Orders paid by credit card will be charged upon receipt.

Add 9.25 % to purchase total. Example: Multiply the total of the merchandise by .0925 to get the proper sales tax and add to order blank.

Foreign orders require payment in full with order. Larger custom orders require a minimum of 50% deposit with order. The preferable method of payment on foreign orders is a bank transfer. Please contact sales office for banking information. Foreign orders are shipped typically DHL or airfreight.

Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt please contact us immediately after your package arrives for a return authorization claim number. All claims MUST be made within 3 days of receipt of order. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Returned products must be in absolutely new and unused condition for refund.
